Welcome to the Official Website of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm serves as the resident diplomatic mission of Sri Lanka to Sweden and is concurrently accredited to Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Norway.
Sri Lanka and Sweden established diplomatic relations in 1949. The opening of the Embassy in Stockholm in 1970 further strengthened bilateral ties and expanded engagement across a wide range of sectors.
The Embassy is committed to advancing Sri Lanka’s interests, promoting closer relations with the countries of accreditation, and serving Sri Lankan citizens in the Nordic and Baltic region.
